Partnering with Indigenous Business Leaders: E-ACRS Ontario with Saulteaux Engineering & Consulting

Client: Saulteaux Engineering & Consulting
Location: Fort Frances, ON

In 2021, Radloff and Saulteaux Engineering & Consulting, both firms with over 20 years in asset management, began combining their extensive experience to provide inspection and asset reporting services to indigenous communities in Ontario. In 2022, those communties included Bimose Tribal Council, Windigo First Nations Council, and Shibogama First Nation Council.

As part of the program, our highly qualified team of inspectors assessed the general condition of roads, bridges, water, wastewater, solid waste, schools, community buildings, and vehicles.  These inspectors worked with each community to identify infrastructure upgrade, repair, and replacement needs and generated reports that included GPS-based infrastructure mapping, plans for reinvestment in the infrastructure, as well as asset valuations, which reflect the replacement costs and remaining life of each asset.
